TROG?
Very sad. Watched "Fast & Loud" last year, their "master mechanic" rebuilt a 45 engine. Had no idea what he was doing, ignored my advice, doesn't understand sidevalve engines.
Oh well.

Update 2:

I got a message yesterday from Denise Friebus.

Apparently the replacement cams are done and being shipped to me tomorrow (7/17).

I'll post photos when they arrive. I'm hoping this is the end of the saga.

Update: End of the Saga

I got four replacement cams yesterday from ACF. They were as expected the first time . . .

For the record, ACF posted an explanation and apology on the AMCA general forum. I take them at their word on this one -- but am leaving the thread as is so others can make their own decisions.

That's nice.
Did they blame someone else?

I recently had ACF reprofile the lobes on a new set of VL/J, unfinished cams... It took way longer than quoted and
they were difficult to contact at times.... In the end, after 9 months, the cams are excellent... One part of this
project was grinding the ignition/points cam on the #4 cam/shaft.. My new shafts were blanks... Paul took on this
part of the project, even after I told him that no one else would touch it..........

He took on a difficult project and kept with it... I am so happy he didn't just quit on me.. And the price for two
sets of experimental VL cams was quite doable.. I contacted more than a few camshaft grinders before contacting
Paul.... Nobody else was interested........Paul, eventually got the job done.. And did fine work..
