Dyna Shocks for a Shovelhead.

Well, Fellas, I have no idea if this is old news or what, but I just got back from test riding my new-to-me shocks on my home buit custom which is set up like a 1073-84 Shovelhead swing arm, and am so tickled with them that I had to share the news. They are stock Harley Dynaglide Shocks OEM # 54537-08A, and they fit perfectly and ride just so much better than the old Progressive 418s I took off the scooter. I highly recommend them. I got mine on eBay for $75, and I don't think I could of done any better. I may try to score another set for my 90", 5 Speed '68 FL to replace the Konis I have on that bike......Best wishes to all....RooDog

i have been using dyna shocks for years on the old 4 speeds, they work great. swap meets are a good source and go for about 40 bucks, too bad the dyna series has ended, better buy a few more pairs for future use.
