Zero engine hours since complete nut and bolt restoration.
It has been fitted with a brand new factory built S&S 74 inch replica engine, assembled and tested for oil pressure.
Panhead 74" long block features S&S crankcase, Sifton oil pump and breather assembly, S&S stock stroke flywheel, Timken bearings, stock cam installed with a matched pinion gear. Cylinders are stock with 8.5:1 compression cast pistons & Hasting rings. Top end includes single plug STD Panhead fitted with rocker arm assemblies, chrome pan covers with thick D-rings and chrome steel pushrod covers.
Automatic advance distributor and finned cam cover are included.
Super E shorty Carb, the engine has been factory run and only has a light lube oil in it
Wheels were all rebuilt new rims spokes at Ash’s Wheels in Brisbane, fitted with brand new Harley Davidson white wall tyres (blue protective coating on them at the moment)
12-volt conversion, generator with gel type high capacity battery, new loom.
Techcycle high torque Starter motor and 1 ½” belt primary drive.
All new brakes, rotor, calliper, new hub sprocket, shoes, master cylinders, lines, driving lights, blinkers
New dark blue over cream paint to original guards and tank
The tank has never had fuel in it.
Heavy duty five finger clutch.
New saddle, pogo sprung seat
Original 1963 tool kit, still wrapped in plastic.
Originally imported from California, with import paperwork, never registered in Australia.
Original speedo in KPH (fitted) and replica in MPH(supplied)
Period style full windscreen and mounting brackets supplied.
The original 1963 engine is included (63FL 7466), and I have a video of it running when bought.
The cam chest was opened to view cams.(all stock original)
Bike has two exhaust systems not fitted – original style and straight through pipes.
Many spares come with the bike, to complete the project.
It has some work left to complete – fitting exhaust, fitting oil canister and lines (all included), clutch adjustment, re-tightening all fasteners etc.
Original engine requires entire overhaul.
The bike is sold as is with no warranty, but plenty of receipts, manuals and my purchasing and import information.
