I think I finished!

Here is my bike. I spent the last two years making it my "own". Finished it yesterday. Here are some before and after pics.

As is was when I got it

After I got it

My first mock up. Didn't quite like the FX look. My son's idea

Final outcome. My way this time.

Along with the obvious I had the heads done with shovel valves, dual plugs, porting, Wiseco pistons, bored .030, Crane cam with hydraulics, top end oiling mods, Mallory ignition and a new trans. Far cry from an original Pan but I call it a Pan and it's mine. I went with a two inch over front end to give me a little more clearance. Got tired of scraping the floor boards every time I went around a bend in the road.

That's a style and look that makes me want to spend a lot more time looking at it in person. Nick work.

GJWILEY, the pipes were new old stock that a guy on ebay had. I got his last two sets over a three year period. I'm drawing a blank trying to remember who made them. I believe they were from Superior.

Just trying to be honest here Are any of us ever going to be finished. There's always going to be something to tune, Tighten, time, and tinker with but that is one lovely pan.
