knuck rockers and shafts

#1

Post by dcmc » Wed Sep 26, 2018 9:14 pm

Bought a box of rockers and shafts, should be a nice set or two in there, for my '46 heads. Shafts and rockers all matched ? at least kept together in the box. Looked on fleabay last night and am shocked at asking prices for just one arm and shaft. I will be offering a few here after I have my heads assembled.
But I have a couple questions;
first are late and early parts interchangeable ? I have one set with early type shafts
second the rockers are slightly different, are the large casting #s the early ones ?
Third a ballpark real world value per set or for the individual ones ?
Thank you,

Pictures worth a thousand words, or dollars.

I could use a few shafts and rockers to complete a set of heads. We can trade or I'll purchase.

Robbie,
A few meaning a full set, or specific rockers ?
