Running in
My pan will be ready soon it has been skimmed out to +80 hew hasting pistons and rings, new valves valve seats valve springs collars,any of you guys recommend a good run in period.

This topic really should be posted under "Panhead"... but anyway:
Hastings rings do not "run in".
They are made accurately enough to seat instantly.
If torqueplates were not applied when the cylinders were hone-fitted, then your 'run in' period will be however long it takes for the piston skirts to collapse.
