Great site guys.

Can anyone recommend an adhesive to secure the felt pads to the underside of the pan's?

Sorry if this has been answered, but I scoured the site before asking.

Thanks.......

When I called the Factory in the late '80's with this same question, the reply was to use their case sealer: 3M #800 Industrial Adhesive.
It carries a -81 OEM number, although Dealerships might keep that proprietary.

This is neither a silicone (although it is red and resembles one) nor a weatherstrip adhesive (although such may work well).

Frankly, modern felts are so fat that the covers pin them down with no need for an adhesive.
Beware, however, of cheap felts that disintegrate no matter what adhesive is used.

It's anybody's guess as to how to tell the difference, so I rely on James'.
