when i was young and rode in any temperature an "older" guy told me as I got older i wouldn't ride unless the temp was at least my age. I never got that bad, but at 54 riding without heated jacket & gloves my low point is about 40, with my heated gear (on my newer bikes) I can still do below freezing without a problem. Think my 12 volt converted Pan can deal with heated gear?

My knee wouldn't even be able to take the strain of trying to kick the engine over let alone ride it!

The best thing was:

3 prime kicks at full choke
retard ignition halfway
choke to "1-click" on
open throttle to full
one-kick, and it started both times(going, and coming back home) :)
