Panhead wins Best of Show

Hope you dont mind if I "toot my horn" a little. I rode a Miracle Ride poker run May 30th in Indianapolis and then enterd my '48 panhead springer chopper in the Bike show ( just as it looks in "Garage " pics) at the home base hotel. To my amazement, out of 150 bikes I was awarded Best of Show! I received a 2 ft. tall eagle sculpture trophy and photo spread soon in one of the Paisano Publications magazines. I think the judges were mature (old?) enough to appreciate a tight old pan with a 35 year patina, thats not a catalog-retro-chopper, and not a trailer queen,(28K)
