Glamour shots

#1

Post by DuoGlide62 » Mon May 31, 2010 4:41 pm

Left the house at 5:30 and headed into town. Being a holiday there was virtually no traffic. First stop,
the United Center. On the East side there's a gated, fenced in lot. A Fox Sports van was waiting at the
gate. I maneuvered around and when the gate opened I rode in with the van. Quickly I parked and set
up my shot. A guy came out and told me I couldn't park there. Told him all I wanted was a picture and he went
back inside. Shot a few, then fired up, signaled the guy to open the gate and rode out. GO HAWKS !
Headed for the Planetarium for some outstanding 'beauty light' shots. The harbor/bay was smooth as glass.
The lighting was perfect. After a bunch o'shots I went over to the 'NEW' Buddy Guy's. (right down the street
from the 'old' Buddy Guy's)
Finished up with breakfast at The Blue Angel and was home by 7:30.
I hope you dig the pix.

Glamor Shots were excellent and hey "Thanks for sharing them".
All the backgrounds were super and i loved them all.
Hand shift's are a lots of Fun..and hey i loved that disc brake on the front wheel.... could you tell me what it takes to convert over....i know about the master cylinder on the bars.. and the later style front hub with the fittings for the rotor.....But what about caliper set up?

Stock '73 lower legs & caliper. It's my go anywhere bike. I like/need a functioning front brake.

Great pictures as always Rick, looked like a nice way to start Memorial Day!

That last one you posted is as good as the glamour shots, you got your bike and your breakfast in the same shot. A whole new definition for B&B.

keep ridin' safe

Thanks Mike. I'll try to keep ridin' but my knee has other ideas. Replacement scheduled for July 9th.
With luck I'll make Davenport again.
