motor and tranny rebuild

went over to my mech. this afternoon we fired the 58 up,sounds great, rode 5-6 miles 35-45 mph warmed engine up so he will be able to retorqe cylinders and heads,will pick up on monday afternoon. so far so good. finished the job on time. replaced 2 ex. valves,all guides. put in new s and s pistons,new valve springs,cometic gaskets.trannies all fresh,put in 2.6 1rst,andrews main shaft.new MD gear,and all others,added that 2 nut tranny adjuster.to bad it's dec. in mich,hopefully ill get outa here for a few weeks.

Great! you're about a year ahead of me. Post some pictures when you can and keep you knees in the breeze!
