I am not an expert but it seems like a panhead with 3000 original miles should have
1) An original voltage regulator
2) An original coil
3) Parkerized floor boards
4) Black oil tank
5) An original air cleaner
6) An original fuel line
7) A black tool box.
e) An original speedometer.

I am guessing this bike has more then 3000 miles.
Could you get red trim on 49 bags?
Should I tell him or mind my own business?

we've been down this road before and found out that it usually doesn't do much good to tell those sellers what's wrong with their stuff. If it is outragiously wrong or obvious that the seller is trying to run a scam the best thing to do is report them to the ebay folks.

The un-original things on that low-mileage '49 are too numerous to list, didja notice the "D" rings on the pans, the O-Ring intake manifold, the polished fork sliders, the repop tank badges, etc., etc., etc.? And I wonder what's behind that center-screw air cleaner???, bet its not a Linkert.

I would let it run its course. It is probably a nice bike and would make a great daily rider but it won't even make it onto the judging field at an AMCA meet. Like we have said many times; "there's an ass for every seat", somebody will buy it.

The most important non original thing would be the SPEEDOMETER!
