Hello all, can the rear brake shoe cam adjusters be removed for service, my seem tight.( maybe it's paint and crude in there. the were beaded but I did not think of disassembling the adjuster atthe time. if they can be removed without to much difficulty how is it done . they turn clockwise and counter-clock .I can usually tear most things apart it's the puttin back together that is difficult. thanks, chuck

Chuck!

I dont' believe they can be removed without destroying them, as they are a pressed assembly.

Lube them with a penetrant, and then use a 3/8" socket extention backwards with another wrench to see if they can be budged.

Very tight is very good, but you must be able to move them 180 degrees.

Thanks Cotten, I think I mistakenly expected them to move more freely but Iwill apply penetrant and use extension. I was told by someone that 7/16 12point would work but I think that still had a tendency to round-over the edges. Chuck
