I have acquired a 68 servicar for my wife that belonged to an ohio police dept. from meter maid duty the bike appears to be in pretty good order.
Starts and runs but idle and accel is lousy to say the least.
It has a Mikuni VM, not sure of size that was stuck on it for some unknown reason. Before I get very far down the road of getting it to work........... Is there suggested carb that can be recommended that I can buy so it is easy out of the box. (more or less)

That VM carb is usually the better replacement than the Linkert DC that might have been on it. Remember never feed any gas to the VM when starting, just choke it. Should be a 34 mm, specs and tips available at victorylibrary
