Throttle wire holder

Is this how it's supposed to sit and look on a 1957 pan? The ones I've seen before sits on the upper motor mount and has a higher throttle lever arm on the linkert. It doesnt look home made...

G'day Johan

I have never seen that before, most throttle cables/coil come out on the left of the steeringhead
then go between the two front down tubes and attach to a tab on the lower strut just above the front
pan. It was this way for a long time.

My bolt and clamp is on the wrong side I think!

you frame should have a tab for a clip and screw that secures the cable. here is how i fixed mine viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1953
