Linkert / Schebler needles?

Post by panhead_kicker » Sat Sep 10, 2011 8:31 pm

Hi all,
I've come across a few carburetor needles that I'm not too sure about. None appear to have replaceable needles, as they have no screws on top.
The first two look identical except the first looks to have been nickle or chrome plated.
The third is similar to the first two, but the knurled knob ends are a machined a little thicker.
Can anyone help identify these?

The far right example appears to be bronze-model Schebler.
(Please beware of internet vendors who claim they are the same.)

The short, small-knobbed one is most likely Indian or a post-'50 1" model, although only a precise measurement will tell, along with careful comparisons to originals.

The three to the left are described by Palmer to be replacement needles.

More when I can, but I am on two-cents-a-minute-dial-up.
