Aftermarket Oil Tank

Post by wantapanrealbad » Sat Dec 08, 2007 12:10 am

I will be needing an oil tank for the 56 pile'o splendor eventually. I see aftermarket ones on ebay for 90 bucks (also in J&P etc.). Have any of you bought one and if so are they any good?

they look real nice but they have the wrong fittings on them.

the fittings have a 45 degree angle on them.

pretty much useless if you want to run a stock oil filter set up.

save yer money and buy a nice original one.

they guy i gave mine to said it didn't fit on his knuckle either, had to remake the chain guard bracket.
