Hello all. I ended up buying a Pan from a friend of mine. It has a 57 FL motor and 59-60 OEM hand shift tanks that are mounted on a 68 rolling chassis. I think I'm going to sell off the chassis and keep the motor, trans, tanks, heel-toe clutch control and hand shifter. That leaves me with a whole lotta bike to get. I'm going to build it as either a 57 restoration or as a bobber. I'd like to buy an OEM 57 frame but, unless I have some good luck, I think it would be too expensive. Any recommendations as to aftermarket frames? JP cycles have one for $1900 that I assume is the same one in the V-Twin catalog. I recall seeing one made in Australia but with the weak USD and shipping I think it would cost over $3k by the time it got to VA. There is also one on eBay for under $1500 but, considering the potential for fitment issues and the difficulties returning something bought on eBay, that may not be a very good deal in the long run. Thanks, Chris

I have a complete 1957 rolling chasie, less engine, with 1957 hand shift tanks, front and rear fender, correct lights front and rear, inner and outer primary, oil tank, filter and lines, repop wiring harness, new tires on powder coated hubs, s/s spokes new rims, laced, trued . foot clutch, brake pedal and all linkage(brakes work, front and rear). has hand shift tranny(rebuilt with stock internals) I have clutch assy too, if needed. This only needs a motor, dash cover to finnish up. frame has new lock, keyed to ignition switch.
