Tiny tachometer / speedo combo

Not a finished job yet, need to smooth out the edges, but you get the idea. A fairly easy project for a winter night..

Great idea. What type of tach is that? I've seen a number of them on the market, but never had one in my hands. May be something useful for the shop. Thanks for posting.

I bought this one from Sendec. I didn't have many options for a tach with a 6V system (used to run a mechanical tach off the dist. cam), this was a simple little unit to install. It has a couple second delay between pick-up and readout time, but it serves my purpose.

I use one to set my timing , I don't leave it on ,its just a tool to me. Since I put the Mallory in , I use a strobe type timing light to time and that Tiny Tac works great to get the RPMs above full adv. to time her. I think mbskeam has one attached to his Pan ,But not in the speedo , nice and clean install there RussW.

Great installation Russ.

I have used the TinyTach (http://www.tinytach.com) variety for at least two years and its been a good performer.
