The '48-54 mount was the one we always wanted for our builds because they used less parts (two screws), and if you have a Harley one (as shown), they won't crack from vibration. Hardened. (The repop ones had a reputation for cracking.)
The '55-59 mount has bigger holes. The shock-isolators assemble as shown (top left). The shock kit won't work with the '48-54 mount.
