Ridgid SideCar Mounting - Rear Mount

#1

Post by thsmith » Wed Jul 27, 2005 8:19 pm

Anyone have a picture or information on how the rear SC mount is attached to the frame. In the spare parts book it looks like there is a nut on the back side(facing tire) and a nut on the outside of the mounting plate?

Thanks for any information.

To the best of my knowledge, both castlenuts are cotter-pinned on the inside.

Cotten,

In the spare parts book it looks like the are 2 nuts for each bolt. I ordered a set of bolts from NOSparts and I received 2 large bolts, lock washers and a thin flat nut that is a bit notched for the cotter pin the rest in not a castle nut.

I will be glad to get this sidecar project done !

Thanks,

Tracy

Tracy!

If the parts from NOSParts are indeed NOS, then they must be correct!
