Oil tank question

#1

Post by ercell » Sun Aug 09, 2009 1:16 am

I am starting to feel like a complainer. The only filtered oil tank I can find has the filler neck on the side where I am kickstarting. I have too many bruises. Jeez that hurts! I sure like the idea of an oil filter, but that filler neck needs to be somewhere else. Anywhere but on the right side. Anyone know of an earl tank with a filter that doesn't have the filler neck that seems to jump out every once in while and get the inside of my leg/knee whatever?

Paughco makes this oil tank that uses a shovelhead spin-on filter in the left side. The filler is dead center under the seat like on a stock oil tank.

Hi Craig, can't help with the oil tank. I just wanted to know what brand tire you have on the rear; I like the looks of it and need to replace mine.

Looks like an Avon MKII to me.

that would be the Avon MKII Safety/Mileage to be more exact, here's a link to the tire discussion we had a while back.
