One of these shjown below is off a 1961 the other is "suposed" to be off a 1959 .The 61 is the one thats more straighter of the 2 ( I'm pretty sure) ,and the zerk hits the frame. but not on the one with the bigger bend in it. I'm not certain which is which ,but the dirty one is from the 59 basket case I bought ,the other from the 61 that I had restored years ago ,then stolen ,then recovered ,so nothings for certain here..the 61 was recovered in pieces.so...

According to Palmers, the one on the right is the late style T, (late 60's).

I'm not talking about the offset just ahead of the grease nipple. I'm talking about the bend just before the the front mounting hole. Bob L

Bob!

You mean behind the front mounting hole ("eye")?

Seat tees are easily straighted, as long as they have never been heated.
Then they are too easy.

Thanks you guys,I'm using the bent one..( the one on the left in the pic) that way I can leave the zerk in ..On the other one it hits the frame.. I just looked back at my bike ,its starting to look like a motorcycle instead a jumble of parts .. It's 3am here My stereo's playing meatloaf, ccr and stuff from that era and I couldnt be happier.
