Hi All,
I have a 58 Pan and I am getting mucho oil into the generator.
I removed the generator and reved the engine to see a large spray of oil coming from the gear housing. Any advice!!

Well, yeah, you would hope for a bunch of oil if the generator was removed.

That is supposed to be there, and it also oils the outboard generator bearing.

But on the inboard generator-side of that bearing, there is a seal. Yours must be faulty. Just clean everything and replace it.
