Need some help with my 60FL...I purchased an electrical terminal strip (5 terminals) that goes somewhere under the seat...does anybody have a photo or drawing of the installation. Colony p/n 8005-12

Curtis -

Mine has the terminal strip mounted behind the ignition coil, on my 59 Pan.

You did not mention the year, but usually terminal board goes on the left side of the seat post tube. There are two tapped bosses that will accept two special studs that space it away from the tube, and then nuts secure the cover and coil mount.

Get a parts manual for your year- the exploded views are necessary for everything.

OK- you did mention the year- everything else applies.

You'll do fine once you get the A,B & C harnesses connected. It's Fun! Check out what I did to the flag and ring terminal ends. Maybe the pix are still on the old board. Ask Panhead. You may want to re-terminal all the ring-end ones. The flag terms are OK as long as you fill the ends with solder. Look out for that coil diagram. Harley got it wrong in the 40's and continued wrong in the '59-69 Service Manual. They have the primary wire on the back of the rear coil and it should be drawn with the primary wire as the front coil terminal.
