Terminal Box and coil mounting question

#1

Post by craig60pan » Tue Apr 26, 2005 12:44 am

Since I got some great info on my terminal plate question I have another one concering the terminal box coil mounting on my 60 pan
Is the picture the correct way to install the terminal box and coil mount?
I have the longer studs for a 58 or later model but they are too short to put the nut on. Any help would be appreciated.

hello,
try this in this order:
frame
termainal box
mounting studs
cover(not shown)
coil mount

becare full when you tighten them as they are made from very soft leaded steel. they bust real easy, I know this first hand

That was it.
It's amazing how well parts fit if you put them in the right order.
Thanks for the help
