Was wondering what the measurement should be from the back of the clutch hub to the inner primary.
don't see any mention of this in any manuals I have

thanks

That distance is determined by the location of the taper on the transmission mainshaft and other than varying slightly due to manufacturing tolerances is a non adjustable dimension, along with the inner primary which is captive to the transmission and engine.
Why are you concerned about it?

ok didnt think there was way to adjust
not really a concern , just a quick fit of the cage, seems it's farther away from the inner than I remember
but then again nothing was tightened down, just kinda pushed it on as far as it would go without the key.
Been a while since I had taken it apart, could be my mind playing tricks too.
just wasn't sure if there was a measurement to take, just to make sure everything fits the way it should
