Any one hear of a Baker six speed transmission that
wll fit an early model frame and tin primaries. If so do you
know the model number of it.
Thanks
Eric

Just curious Eric, why would you want a 6 speed tranny?

If I could find a good aftermarket 4 speed I'd buy it.
Baker didn't have one now but said maybe in the near future.
This is my one and only build and I need all the help I can
get
Thanks
Eric

Ya I would ask the same question, Why on earth would you spend 3 grand on a tranny that would fit a tin primary bike. You could literally buy piece by piece for that and have all new internals and have plety of money left over, and you would have a factory old case. Plus you could pay sombody to do all the work!

Yep , the Rev Tech kit is about $750-800 (has every thing but the case and ratchet top assembly, kicker assembly)depending where you get it , how much for a replica case ? Can you find a good used early case or just get a 65 & up so you could put an electric leg in later .That's what I would do. If you got the cash , I guess it doesn't matter.
