shifter prawl orientation

Post by justdave » Mon May 10, 2010 7:06 pm

Hello all, I've got a box of pan and shovel ratchet top parts and am looking for any info on the orientation
of the shifter prawls in relation to the shifter prawl carrier because I'm looking at 4 prawls with 3 different slots.
Thanks DaveZ

Are you talking about the groove in the shifter pawl? If so the square notches on the pawls both face in toward the center(toward each other). The groove registers on the pin in the pawl carrier so the pawls cannot rotate.
