Anyone know what the disc wheel is called that you sometimes see on the rear of Pans? I have a 51 Pan chopper.. Not raked or stretched and would love to get a rear disc wheel cover.

Disc wheels for knuckles and pans were made by the Wolfe Accessory Mfg.Company of Akron, Ohio. You had to send your wheel to them and they would weld the rim and discs onto the original hub. They are probably a rare item now. If you just want covers, we had a post about them a while back. I think Cotten had some info on them.

Cheers DuoDave...thanks for the info.

I know the welded wheels you talk about, a friend owned a knuckle years ago with them. I would kill (my mother in law) for a set of those, I've never seen them available anywhere. The covers show up occasionally on ebay, but the solid wheels are like the holy grail. And would probably be equally expensive if ever found.
