Spotlamp Repair

Post by panz4ever » Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:53 pm

I am putting a 49 EL backtogether after 25 years of neglect. One of the guide spotlamp brackets that is riveted to the shell is broken. Anyone have a reliable source that can repair this. Oh, and its not just cracked -the bottom portion is like MIA, broken, gone, in the wind.

Thx, Dave

You can try, but I doubt if they sell it as a separate part.

I was looking for DH-49 bullet light rivets and someone here suggested Old Dude but never got around to checking with him but he does haves a lot of old stuff.

Good luck on the 49EL.

The Guide spotlamps were a common tractor accessory;
I have collected loose brackets from farm sales,...although they have never been cad or chrome plated.

If I dig one out, its for trade only.
