Description: Is it possible to fix/restore an original coil?

Is it possible to fix/restore an original coil? If so, can anyone refer me to a vendor?

I don't know for sure if they can be repaired, but Dale Cashman of Virgina Beach, VA- (757) 497-0131 (Eastern Standard Time) will. He is the guru regarding 6V electrics. He will be able to repair yours or supply you with a rebuilt one.

Good Luck

I was quite surprised to find that a heat lamp will gently melt the potting compound to where the manual instructions for re-inserting a fresh plug lead will work like a charm.
