Adjustable triple tree venting plug

#1

I finally got a good used adjustable triple tree. It came with fork tubes attached. The fork plugs are an aftermarket type with no vent plug. Is this an issue?

I figure I will look for the vented type. All I can see is blowing a seal on a good bump.Do not know if it could happen, but my luck sucks in proportion to how far away I am from help.[broken chain-West Virginia turnpike, generator brushes go out-Raliegh,NC, switch to reserve tank, crap fills carb, London, England, etc.]

All I know is that there are different designs, depending on the year. As far as I know they should vent.

I found em in the v twin catalog! They show 2 types. One has a vent on the plug, very visible. The other one [mine] they say is vented. I missed it first time through. I do not see it, so it may be in the bolt hole. Thanks ;)
