1948 heads spigot repair

Post by SFC Diesel » Thu Jun 19, 2008 2:52 am

Was wondering if you all have a Idea of how to get the exhaust spiget (not sure if that is correct terms) fixed on the cylinder heads, mine broke this week at Laconia. did a quick fix with some all thread pipe and JB weld. I put the old girl to the test and she got me home everynight.

I don't know if HeadHog still exists, the founder died a while back...There are spigot replacement parts available, just have to set up the head on a mill, bore the opening for a landing and weld them in...
