52 FL with the side tube stems. Is there any advantage to rubber or metal valve stems. They are available both ways. Not sure if there is a structural advantage to metal, not sure which would have been correct in 52?

Rubber was standard and fit the large hole in the rims correctly. metal are needed if the rims are aftermarket and have a small hole. Most metal are center stem as well, while rubber are the correct offset.
