Big end thrust washers.

Stripped a 46 U motor for a rebuild & discovered that the flywheels have bronze thrust washers pressed in.
Is this OK , will they last & do the job ?
Does not look as if this motor has run since somebody had a go at it !!

The factory used bronze ones on some engines. Most later Sportster are bronze, they work fine. The rods shouldn't really touch them much if all is set up correctly.
