If one does not know what one's shit is worth, then perhaps one does not deserve to have it. Present company excepted....

I’ll throw some numbers: $1200 for the trans, $4000 for the motor, $4500 for both. Having the title is great, what about carb, circuit breaker & generator? Any case repairs? Documented rebuild?

Just my opinion

I tihnk depending on where in the country anywhere from $4k to maybe $5.5k for the motor and $800 to $1200 for the trans. I would try instagram and tag chopperswapper for a repost.

I would think that you should put on ebay bid with a high reserve ...say 8000 . With the title you have a gem in your hand . I have followed pan motors with titles and they go high !

Just wondering. Here in Rhode Island, titles were not issued for vehicles until the 1960's. Titles are not required to register vehicles more than 20 years old.
What does one do to register a non titled vehicle in another state?
Thanks, Sam

Basically jump thru hoops, DMV hoops, in cali you'd begin with a vin verification.

A recent transfer from Tennessee to Kentucky was delayed because the youngster sent by the DMV to verify my Panny's engine number was in fact the VIN in lieu of a frame number. After he consulted with an older and wiser clerk the verification passed muster and the Kentucky title was issued. As Buddha says just hoops to jump through, and they are all different.
Here in Tennessee all you need is the paperwork to get a title....

I moved from RI to Florida and, for a fee, RI issues a statement that there is no title for that vehicle but a notarized bill of sale or old registration to yourself, with an inspection form from a Florida dealer, submit with the papers to registry, get a title in the mail a week later. Oh money too!

The paperwork for my bike was a bill of sale. Any additional paperwork can be found in any mens room.

My understanding is that cal will not honor the registration no title from the New England States, but then again, it's just another hoop.     :P
