Getting ready to put my WLA springer together. I got an old OEM steering damper. Does the torque arm, the part with the hook on it, connect to something? Seems like it would. Part #2792-40

Thanks All

WL frames have a milled half moon under the steering head right behind the bottom bearing cup. The top of the damper brace loop seats into the half moon to retain it.
